Guadalmina North
Guadalmina Alta · San Pedro Alcántara · 18 holes · Par 72 · Folco Nardi
A walking-friendly alternative in western Marbella, with its own identity beside the better-known South Course. Reserve Guadalmina North by name: a booking at the club should identify the course you will actually play.

The course
Folco Nardi’s par-72 layout is predominantly level, with generally wider fairways than the South and residential boundaries that still punish a wayward shot. A stream influences parts of the round. Both nines return towards the clubhouse, making the layout practical when a shorter option is available.
Who is it for?
Our take: a good starting point for regular mid-handicap golfers who value a manageable walk and a varied round over dramatic elevation changes. It is not a free pass for inaccurate driving: houses, boundaries and longer par-3 shots require sensible targets.
Can non-members book?
Guadalmina has a visitor information section and separate public golf rates as well as member-guest rates. Non-members should contact the club or caddie master for a visitor tee time, specifying North. Do not assume the member booking window or discounted guest prices apply. The rates page still labels its table 2025, so ask for the current quotation instead of treating it as a 2026 price list.

Can you stay on the course?
The historic Hotel Guadalmina sits beside the South Course, not at the North clubhouse. Marbella Tourism currently marks that hotel closed for refurbishment, so it is not presented here as a bookable on-course stay. Use San Pedro or another verified accommodation base until its reopening is confirmed.

Facilities and planning
The club has a practice range and a separate par-3 course, alongside its two full-length layouts. Confirm which facilities your visitor reservation includes. If you want nine holes or a lesson rather than a complete round, ask the club to quote that option directly.
North and South are distinct rounds, even though they share a club. Choose North if a relatively level walk is important, then compare the tee options with your usual distances. Check the club’s dated course-status page for maintenance and buggy restrictions before travelling.
Before paying, confirm handicap or licence requirements, dress code, equipment, the chosen tee time and any maintenance restrictions with the operator. Hotel and golf bookings are separate unless an explicit package includes both.
